California: Art Works!

The Art Works! section of the California Arts Council (CAC) Web site documents the work of current and past grantees and programs of the CAC. Some of the subjects that have been highlighted to date include Poetry Out Loud, teaching artists, music education, community empowerment, women in the arts and accessibility. Each of the stories provides a detailed description of the activity and includes commentary from the CAC staff that describes why the work is important to the citizens of the state.
