State Panel Cover Sheets Now Available
Every year, NASAA creates state panel cover sheets that give detailed overviews of each state and territory’s legislative appropriations and National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) funding history, as well as a statewide demographic profile. The panel cover sheets are used as part of the NEA State Partnership Agreement panel review and facilitate a better understanding of each state’s unique funding and demographic history.
NASAA produces these annual cover sheets in partnership with and under guidance from the NEA. New this year, NASAA collaborated with PolicyMap to implement an interactive, web based version of the panel cover sheets for each state, Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. The new version provides more detailed demographic information, including demographic changes over time, as shown in Maine Arts Commission’s example. To request a copy of your state or territory’s panel cover sheet, contact NASAAA Research Associate Declan Wicks.
