New SAA Fact Sheet: Support for Arts in Rural Communities
To complement our suite of recently updated state arts agency (SAA) grant-making fact sheets, NASAA has released a new fact sheet highlighting SAA support for arts in rural communities. The arts help to address a variety of challenges faced by rural communities, including geographic isolation and infrastructure limitations. This fact sheet provides a narrative overview of several important ways state arts agencies meet these challenges, such as addressing unique infrastructure and preserving cultural heritage. The fact sheet also provides statistics and data visualizations describing state arts agency grant-making in rural communities.
NASAA can create custom grant-making reports and comparative analyses for members. For more information, or if you have general questions about grant making, contact NASAA Research Director Ryan Stubbs or National Standard Associate Kelly Liu.
