Now Available: Fiscal Year 2012 Appropriations Preview Slidecast

As a national source of information on public arts funding, NASAA provides a knowledge network and fact base to help state arts agencies make informed policy decisions and put their own state’s needs and experiences in context. Providing customized responses to member questions is a hallmark of NASAA. The Research on Demand column offers specific examples of the NASAA research services available and shows how they can be customized to meet your needs.

A Learning on Demand slidecast is now available to accompany NASAA’sState Arts Agency Fiscal Year 2012 Legislative Appropriations Preview report. This 7-minute audio slideshow provides a great introduction to the state of appropriations heading into this fiscal year, and can help place your state’s experience into a national perspective. Because it is a concise overview, it can be used to help council members, advocates and staff members get acquainted with appropriations and give this year’s forecasts some historical context.
