Kansas: Innovation and Collaboration Grants
To help support individual artists, the Kansas Arts Commission (KAC) has announced the Artist Innovation and Collaboration Grants. The new grants, which have replaced the KAC Fellowship and Awards program, fund projects that help artists forward their careers artistically or through business development and assist them in working collaboratively with other artists or directly with communities. Artist Innovation Grants encourage artists to explore new methods, perspectives, elements, forms, materials and/or processes that develop or advance their entrepreneurial and creative work. Artist Collaboration Grants encourage artists to develop relationships and projects with other artists, organizations and communities to advance the artist’s creative work and to benefit the general public. For more information, contact KAC Community and Artist Partnerships Program Manager Christine Dotterweich Bial.
