New Arts and Health Fact Sheet and Infographic
As part of our work on arts and health, NASAA is releasing a new fact sheet, Arts and Health: Evidence for the Arts Strengthening Health Outcomes, and an infographic, How Arts Participation Transforms Health. Found on our recently updated Arts and Health web page, the fact sheet and infographic are designed to equip state arts agencies with essential data for leveraging the strength of the arts in clinical and community settings.
The fact sheet distills the latest key research on the distinct ways the arts strengthen health outcomes, including the ways the arts provide direct health benefits, facilitate healthy aging, improve the health of veterans and bolster health related economic and social outcomes. The infographic presents this research as a digestible visual guide.
Also included on the Arts and Health web page update are webinars from NASAA’s Arts and Health Professional Learning Community: Improving Health Through Prescribing the Arts and Arts and Health Research: Making the Case for Advancing Policy.
