Join National Call to Action: Support Arts and Culture

The Cultural Advocacy Group (CAG) is a collaborative working group of national, regional, and state arts and cultural organizations. You may already be familiar with CAG. Established in the early 1990s, this group works to advance pro-arts policies at the federal level. NASAA has participated in CAG since its inception.

CAG recently organized a national, coordinated call to action, inviting America’s arts and cultural organizations, artists, audiences, advocates and stakeholders to lift our voices in support of federal investments in the arts and humanities. We encourage all arts and humanities stakeholders to lend your voices to support federal fiscal year 2026 appropriations for the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Congress is set to continue its work after Labor Day, and responding soon to this timely call can reinforce the work that advocates have been advancing in Congress this summer.
