State Arts Agency Grant Making and Funding: 2013 Update

Updated annually, NASAA’s FY2013 Grant Making and Funding report concisely describes aggregated data from two of NASAA’s key data collection efforts: Final Descriptive Report grants data and state arts agency revenues. This report provides statistical summaries, tables and visualizations of grants data including total dollars awarded, number of communities reached, awards by discipline and awards by institution type. Grants data are mapped within the report to show the reach of state arts agency grants across the country. The funding section of the report describes recently observed funding trends as well as a 25-year history of legislative appropriations.

NASAA members can access detailed state arts agency funding data in the Fiscal Year 2013 State Arts Agency Revenues report, and can request custom comparative reports and maps detailing their state’s funding and grant-making trends.
