Held in alternate years, NASAA Leadership Institutes are specially designed for state arts agencies’ key policy decision makers—executive directors, deputy or assistant directors, commissioners, chairs and council members. The 2011 Leadership Institute’s agenda placed a special emphasis on state arts agency change and mobilizing public support for the arts.
