The NASAA Hearts of Practice convening was the culmination of a year-long Arts and Health Professional Learning Community (PLC) aimed at building knowledge and strengthening the practices of state and jurisdictional arts agency (SAA) and regional arts organization (RAO) staff at the intersection of the arts and health.
The program offered SAA and RAO networking opportunities and exploration of arts and health programming with leadership from field experts and peers. Sessions discussed sustainability, expanding innovative programs, evaluation and cross-sector partnerships in areas such as arts on prescription, creative aging, veterans’ health and more.
