HEARTS OF PRACTICE: Promoting STATEWIDE STRATEGIES IN THE ARTS AND HEALTH

Hearts of Practice is the culminating event in a series of year-long activities by an Arts and Health Professional Learning Community (PLC). The PLC aims to build knowledge and strengthen practices of state and jurisdictional arts agencies (SAAs) and regional arts organizations (RAOs) working at the nexus of the arts and health sectors. The event and PLC are initiatives of NASAA in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
The program offers SAA and RAO networking opportunities and exploration of arts and health programming with leadership from field experts and peers. Sessions discuss sustainability, expanding innovative programs, evaluation and cross-sector partnerships in areas such as arts on prescription, creative aging, veterans' health and more.
