Nebraska: Free Tickets for Caregivers of Disabled Individuals
The Nebraska Arts Council (NAC) in collaboration with the William R. Patrick Foundation is providing free tickets or admission to the caregivers and family members that accompany disabled individuals to arts events. The NAC identified the need for this service after speaking with several persons with disabilities. While the individuals with disabilities indicated they could obtain free tickets or admission to the events, the cost of paying for the caregiver and/or family member tickets often was prohibitive. Because of this they did not take advantage of the free ticket offerings. The William R. Patrick Foundation provided the financial support to make this program possible. For more information, contact NAC Executive Director Suzanne Wise.
