The PA Creative Aging Initiative was founded on the principle that knowledge about and opportunity around creative aging programs supports healthy living for older Pennsylvanians. With this grant, the PCA will be able to create and reimagine an online training program for creative aging that will enhance PCA’s capacity to support the growing and diversifying aging population across the state, and continue to strengthen our relationships with the PA Department of Aging and other state agencies. Additionally, PCA intends to make the resource available to any organization, free of charge, to reach as broad an audience as possible without any barriers to participation or access. The training program will include modules with embedded assessments, the opportunity to print out a certificate of completion at the end and a series of best practice videos that will highlight a variety of art forms.
