Following earlier passage in the House of Representatives, the Senate voted last night to approve a short-term appropriations bill that will extend current funding for the National Endowment for the Arts until February 2, 2024. Passage of this legislation came just two days before funding for all federal agencies was set to expire.

With the extension in place, the House and Senate will continue to negotiate on a funding package for the remainder of the fiscal year.
