NASAA has released the State Arts Agency Fiscal Year 2026 Legislative Appropriations Preview, which provides a snapshot of state and jurisdictional arts agency budgets collected just before the start of most states’ new fiscal year on July 1. It includes information on the total appropriations each state arts agency expects to receive for FY2026 and provides an update of FY2025 funding levels.

We encourage you to circulate this information and to cite the findings in communications with your members and advocacy colleagues in your state, but please note that this is preliminary information.
