West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture and History: Creative Aging Grants for Lifelong Learning

Project Description

Creative Aging Grants for Lifelong Learning will provide funds to nonprofit organizations offering arts education to the aging population. Eligible projects will take place in West Virginia, employ a West Virginia teaching artist, provide sequential programming to teach a new skill in the arts, and have a public, culminating event at the conclusion of the project. Projects may teach visual arts or performing arts, but must work with the same group of aging adults throughout. Workshops may be virtual, in person or a combination of the two. A culminating event will ensure community involvement.
