Delaware Division of the Arts: Access Creative Aging

Project Description

The Delaware Division of the Arts will partner with the Delaware Division of Libraries and the Delaware Institute for the Arts in Education to administer free creative aging programming at approximately 10 public libraries across the state of Delaware. Creative aging training will be provided to teaching artists and librarians to prepare for the development and implementation of the programming. The Access Creative Aging initiative is designed to serve up to 300 older adults with quality, interactive arts learning experiences. A goal is to include diverse participants from both underserved and rural communities by building on the outreach efforts and contacts already established by local public libraries.
