Vol. 22:03
This morning, in advance of today’s markup to consider the legislation, the House Interior Appropriations Subcommittee released its proposed funding bill for fiscal year 2023. The legislation calls for funding for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to be increased to $207 million, a slightly higher figure than the President’s proposed $203.55 million recommendation. We are grateful to the committee for its continued support for the NEA and its critical role in supporting the arts throughout the country.
The markup session, during which the bill will be put into its final form, begins at 4:00 p.m. today.
