New from NASAA: Arts Advocacy Videos for You to Share

March 8, 2018

NASAA is thrilled to announce the release of four new advocacy videos promoting the public benefits of the arts. Each hand-drawn whiteboard animation tells a unique story of how communities thrive through the arts:

American Ingenuity
Art Heals
Student Success
Art in Our Everyday Lives

These videos follow advocacy best practices: they’re nonpartisan, succinct and fact based. And they were crafted to be short, engaging and easy to share with your grantees and advocates. NASAA is promoting them nationally, but we need your help to achieve state and local reach:

  • Promote the videos through your agency/personal social media channels.
  • Embed them on your website.
  • Link to them in your newsletter.

Find a call to action, data citations and artistic credits at nasaa-arts.org/actnow/. And don’t forget the other free advocacy tools NASAA provides, especially Why Should Government Support the Arts?

We hope you find this new material to be useful. If you have questions—or would like to discuss how to use your own branding on any of the videos—please contact NASAA Communications Manager Sue Struve.
