Navigating the Creative Economy State Profiles

NASAA’s Creative Economy State Profiles are a useful tool to explore your state’s unique creative economy story and to underscore the continued importance of the arts to future economic growth with key stakeholders. Using brand-new Arts and Cultural Production Satellite Account (ACPSA) data released from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, this workshop will walk you through how to navigate the interactive dashboard and the ACPSA dataset to find key data points for your state. Join this NASAA Research Workshop and together we will:

• tour the Creative Economy State Profiles and learn more about how to access the entire ACPSA dataset;
• walk through your state’s unique creative economy data in small breakout groups;
• discuss strategies for using the data to inform conversations with policymakers and to effectively communicate the economic value of the arts to stakeholders.
